The day started at Claudine’s house, where the bridesmaids helped her get into a gorgeous wedding dress and sparkly silver pumps. Once everyone was dressed and ready to go, Justin positioned himself at the steps of her porch to await the ‘reveal’. Claudine had another special gentleman waiting for her at the bottom of the steps in her house, her Dad. As she walked down those steps, he held his hand out to her and you can feel the emotion in the room, that moment was like the ‘reveal’ that brides and grooms have Claudine had some neat ideas for her special day, we first headed to a local diner, took a stroll along Queen Street, hopped onto a streetcar for two blocks, and then took a ferry with the bridal party to Center Island for some skyline shots, what a fun filled day! Thank you to the owners of OK2 Diner for letting us shoot at their location.
The ceremony was also very emotional and it’s easy to see how much these two adore each other. They’ve been through a lot of love and loss during their relationship, all of which has made them stronger as individuals and as a couple. It was really touching when Claudine said in the ceremony, “Even when it feels like the whole world is tumbling down, as long as Justin is with me I know everything is going to be okay.”
Steam Whistle Brewery is such a unique venue with a ton of photo ops: rustic brick walls, grey wooden ceremony backdrop, brewery tour area, art gallery lobby, and located right next to CN tower and Rogers Center. I also loved the decor this couple chose to complement the venue, and asking guests to blow bubbles during the entrance and first dance was another unique touch Claudine and Justin, Congratulations on such a beautiful day and it was a pleasure working with you and the entire bridal party!
